This vessel was specified for long-distance cruising; upgraded 54hp engines, 11KW Onan genset, 3Kva inverter/ charger, bow thruster, additional fridges/ icemaker, 100l/h watermaker, front loading washer/ drier, full reverse cycle air conditioning, a little over a1000w solar panels and full Victron 800 a/h Lithium battery installation (Sep '22).
Her tender is a Highfield 350 RIB with a 30Hp Suzuki outboard and steering console, stored on davits with a dedicated electric manual winch for easy retrieval.
The comfortable flybridge, with excellent all-round visibility, is shaded by a large bimini that may be fully enclosed. Her instrumentation includes twin Raymarine Hybrid plotters and I70 Multi displays at the helm and nav station, class B AIS Transceiver, Radar and FLIR night vision camera. All sailing controls are led back to powerful electric Harken winches within easy reach of the helm. Uniquely, she has an in-mast furling mainsail, which makes for easy sail handling. There is a Parasailor Spinnaker for downwind performance and a code 0 on a removal furler. All her standing rigging has just been replaced in May '23.
The interior is light oak for a contemporary feeling of space and light. In the Saloon, the large L-shaped settee with table and galley is to starboard, and the navigation station with Raymarine plotter, instruments and steering joystick is to port. The U-shaped galley with Corian tops has lots of counter space, a 3-burner gas hob and oven with grill, a fridge and freezer and another dedicated drinks drawer fridge in the cockpit.
All cabins are air-conditioned ensuites with large hull windows and overhead hatches to ensure ventilation, light, and space. The spacious owner's cabin covers the starboard hull and can be closed with a sliding door. Aft is the island-style double berth, midships a desk, wardrobe, sofa and up forward the large head with enclosed shower. The port aft cabin features the same size island berth, with plenty of storage, an ensuite head, and a partitioned shower. The port forward twin berth can be made into a double with a small infill.
Her current and only second owner purchased her in 2018 and had her maintained and serviced/ improved by marine professionals. OOROO 1 has been slipped for her annual antifouling, Propspeed and hull polish (Jul '23).
