Serenata' is a 2018 Hanse 388, now exclusively for sale with YOTI on Pittwater.
Designed by Judel/Vrolijk & Co and built by Hanse Yachts, the 388 carries the hallmarks that have made Hanse one of the world's largest and most successful sailing yacht builders. The self-tacking jib and in-mast furling mainsail make 'Serenata' easy to sail, while the twin-wheel cockpit provides plenty of room to move around. She is a one-owner boat that presents incredibly well. It is clear she has been well cared for and has enjoyed a relatively easy life cruising around Pittwater.
Below deck, the popular two-cabin layout provides generous accommodation while allowing for an enlarged galley, creating an enjoyable space to prepare meals and drinks. Without a third cabin, there is also a dedicated storage area aft to port. French Oak furniture, Delight Oak flooring and upgraded grey upholstery create a modern, inviting interior, while a custom comfort mattress has been added to the forward cabin. Blinds with flyscreens and 12V fans in both cabins are ideal for Pittwater's summer evenings, while an Eberspächer diesel heater keeps things comfortable during the winter months.
The Elvstrøm Dacron sails comprise a fully battened mainsail and a self-tacking jib, both on furling systems. Two electric Lewmar 40ST winches and two manual Lewmar 40ST winches are complemented by ten Spinlock clutches, with an adjustable backstay completing the sail controls. The cockpit features a bimini, dodger, connecting panel between the two, cockpit cushions and wheel covers. A Zodiac 270 dinghy with an aluminium floor and Yamaha 6hp four-stroke outboard are included, making trips ashore easy.
Navigation is taken care of by a comprehensive B&G electronics package, including a 9-inch Zeus³ chartplotter at the helm, two Triton multifunction displays, a hydraulic ram autopilot, a V50 VHF at the chart table, a B&G handheld VHF and an AIS transponder. The electrical system is equally well equipped, with twin 160Ah AGM house batteries installed in August 2024 and monitored by a Victron battery monitor. A 250W solar panel mounted on the bimini feeds through a smart charge controller, while a Mastervolt charger and 240V shore power provide additional charging options.
Power comes from a Yanmar 3YM30AE 29hp diesel engine with just 348 hours. The engine and saildrive were serviced in May 2026.
