Yoti BlueWater seeks out the best in New Caledonia Published in September 25, 2014 Go! Greg Cockle flew over to New Caledonia last week to list, photograph and video the beautiful 50’ aluminium blue water cruising yacht, La Colombe. It was a tough assignment – including a day sailing in the world’s largest lagoon with a 15–20 knot south easterly blowing so that on water pics and video could be captured. Well, someone had to do it. Greg was invited to stay in the Indonesian bungalow attached to the water front home of the Vendor whilst he was there. The Vendor and his wife, both retired doctors, live on a canal development about 25km north of Noumea. La Colombe rests on their private dock in front of the house and is a short 10 minute motor to the lagoon.
