Professional and Caring Approach

When two friends get an idea they are going to buy a multihull and know little about sailing, let alone the boats themselves, you would expect any Yacht broker would want to run or think you are just time wasters. We were fortunate to cross paths with Robert Vrind from YOTI’s Gold Coast office who never once made us feel that way, never putting the hard sell on us but always giving us sound advice each time we met, sometimes inspecting YOTI stock other times we were inspecting the competition stock, however our paths kept crossing with Robert on those visits to The Boat Works, Gold Coast. Eventually we came across a Lagoon 420 in Tasmania which was listed with Tim Vine at YOTI’s Sydney office. After numerous conversations over the phone, we decided to meet Tim in Tasmania to inspect the boat, take a chance do the haul out and sea trial all on the same day.

Tim and Robert, your professional, caring approach in guiding us before, during and after the sale has made our entry into sailing life easier though at times a bit stressful from our end being so green in the sailing world. Lastly to Karyn (Sydney office) and Ben (Gold Coast office) thank you for getting all the paperwork sorted and some, whilst Ben took care of the cleaning of the boat on arrival from Tassie.  YOTI thank you for your attention to detail and all the help given to us during the purchase.
