Persistence Through Unchartered Waters Published in June 11, 2020 Go! Selling our Lagoon 42 was always going to be a sad and stressful experience. We had originally purchased Sabella from Tim Vine at Yoti and had no hesitation in reacquiring his services for the sale. From the outset, and during the very trying months that followed, Tim and the staff at Yoti maintained a friendly, helpful and professional attitude to all demands, queries and setbacks. Just as we were in the final stages, the COVID-19 pandemic struck halting all overseas travel to conclude the final sea trial. A first ever implementation of the Force Majeure clause pushed the settlement to an indefinite future date. Tim rose to this challenge and encouraged the buyer to negotiate an as-is settlement which was readily accepted by us and the sale was concluded shortly after.
