Herreshoff 42 – Francis – May 2013 Published in May 17, 2013 Go! A local shipwright turned builder had a soft spot for the beautiful Francis as soon as he laid eyes on her. Mark recognised the workmanship and passion that went into creating such a special yacht, not to mention the irreplaceable 30 foot planks of Huon Pine. Future plans for the Herreshoff include a passage north to Queensland. We are very happy to see this piece of history remain on Pittwater just minutes from where she was built.
