Beneteau Oceanis 473 – Jack Tar – April 2015 Published in May 04, 2015 Go! The previous owners of Jack Tar spent eight wonderful years sailing the Mediterranean, the Atlantic Ocean and finally across the Pacific to their home in Mooloolaba. Monica and Marco had searched all over for a Beneteau 473 of their dreams; they had specific requirements about layout and the level of cruising equipment. Jack Tar went live on the YOTI web site on Thursday afternoon and by Friday lunchtime a handshake closed the deal. Monica said “It was the video on the YOTI site” that helped them make the decision to come and inspect the boat the next morning, “it was the layout we were looking for and was clearly explained on the clip”. Jack Tar has now sailed to Brisbane with its happy new owners, where they will live aboard and prepare to sail Jack back out into the Pacific.
