Lagoon Escapade in the Whitsundays Wrap Up Published in August 30, 2018 Go! Yoti was privileged to be a sponsor of the Bi- Annual Lagoon Escapade, held late July in the beautiful Whitsundays. 17 Lagoons of all sizes gathered for 2 days of fun and a race/cruise to the Gloucester Resort, a little North of Airlie Beach. The opening night was hosted at the fabulous “Lure” venue of Abell Point Marina, where host Rowan McMahon of TMG, the importers of Lagoon for Australia, excelled once more. Besides clarifying the next day plans, and procession departure from the marina for the photoshoot, he had many fabulous prices to hand out, courtesy of many of TMG/ Yoti sponsors. Upon arrival the next day at the Cape Gloucester Beach Resort a BBQ was hosted by Rowan and Robert Vrind of Yoti followed by some beach games and the all important SUP race in the afternoon. Sadly the next morning we already had to travel for the upcoming Sydney Boatshow, whilst the lucky Lagoon owners where contemplating how to spend their day in paradise. We are all looking forward to the next Lagoon Escapade, a wonderful tradition for the many and ever increasing Lagoon owners. Others Galleries
