Duncanson 24

Thank you guys again for the excellent services provided by Ian Greentree during the recent process of purchasing Gingerbread Man. Since the very first contact, Ian was extremely helpful, “taking me by the hand” through the whole paperwork process and being responsive and present during all inspection and negotiation stages. Thanks Ian!

Sold – Catalina 320 ‘Coromandel’

Coromandel was a neat Catalina 320. These yachts were the most successful cruising yachts of their size in history. The American builders built a couple of thousand of these surprisingly big pocket cruisers. Coromandel was a local boat which we matched up with local purchasers within days of us initiating the campaign. Peter and Halina previously owned a larger Catalina so were very familiar with the brand. They are very happy to be back on the water with some sails to play with.

Sold – Dufour 412 ‘Quan’

Richard, Rachael, and their kids are a true boating family. Their much-loved Northshore 33 has served their growing family well for more than 12 years. It was time though to step up to something bigger and more modern.

We listed Quan, a 2017 Dufour 412, for sale for her Melbourne based owner and after posting a ‘Coming Soon’ photo of the yacht, Richard and Rachael were the first to take a look. With their years of sailing experience plus the needs of the family, it wasn’t long before they knew this was the perfect fit. Quan is also in survey for charter which is perfect for Richard who has worked professionally with charter boats for decades.

Sold – Beneteau Oceanis 423 ‘Lady Cassandra’

Congratulations to Karen and Geoff on the successful purchase of their 7th (!) vessel, the well cared for Beneteau Oceanis 423 named “Lady Cassandra”.

Karen and Geoff are very seasoned sailors with a circumnavigation and other equally impressive crossings under their belts before hanging up their boots and enjoy the land-based life in the mountains near the Gold Coast. That is until a trip past the Boatworks last month, where they spotted the lovely Lady Cassandra, that was just about to come on the market. Upon spotting the YOTI flag, they secured an early inspection and knew this was their next vessel!

We wish Karen and Geoff a wonderful time reconnecting with liveaboard life, whilst getting ready to cruise the East Coast. Safe travels and fair winds.

Sold – Hanse 342 ‘Gwendoline Mary’

As is happening frequently at the moment, we sold this lovely Hanse 342 prior to advertising. We love Hanse 342’s; they’re such a great blend of classic looks with modern speed and comfort. Gwendoline Mary will soon sail south to Melbourne where she’ll be a much loved member of her new family.

Get in touch if you would like to discuss how an off market campaign might work for you.

Sold – Lagoon 42 ‘Next Life’

Congratulations to Ric on purchase of the 2017 Lagoon ‘Next Life’. Ric is on his second Lagoon catamaran and has just delivered her to the Whitsundays with his sailing friend Paul, who said it was one of nicest sailing trips he has done on the East Coast.

We are looking forward to seeing Ric and family at the 2021 Lagoon Escapade in the Whitsundays and wish them great adventures and safe passages.

Sold – Catalina 320 ‘Nepenthe’

‘Nepenthe’, a 2000 Catalina 320, was one of the many recent sales through YOTI we have managed to sell without advertising. The market has been as strong as we’ve seen and we’ve been able to capitalise on our long term relationships with both owners and prospective buyers.

Contact us to discuss a sales campaign that works for you.

Sold – Jeanneau 3200 ‘Steadfast’

It seems the appetite for fun and fast short handed yachts is a growing trend, judging by the incredible interest this Jeanneau Sun Fast 3200 attracted. Congratulations to her new owners who were unfortunately unable to get to test sail her due to border restrictions but will finally be able to put her through her paces over coming weeks when she makes her way to Pittwater for a stop over before heading to her new home in QLD.

Sold – Lagoon 420 ‘Chat Eau Bleu’

‘Chat Eau Bleu’, a 2007 Lagoon 420, has had a blessed life. As a very well looked after Lagoon, she has been to more places than most avid travelers. Having crossed the Pacific as a near near boat and sailed to Australia by her first owners, Peter and Debbie, she then headed back to Europe where she was home for them for several years. When they decided to upgrade to a larger Lagoon, the decision was made to ship her back to Australia. She was contracted before she arrived!

Well known Tasmanian yachtsman Simon decided two hulls were now better than one, and he picked her up in Newcastle before sailing her back home to Tasmania.

Well done Simon, Peter and Debbie.
