GP42 - Elena Nova - SOLD

Now For Sale on Sydney Harbour, Elena Nova is a stunning GP42 berthed at the CYCA.

Built in Europe in 2011 and from the design board of Judel Vrolijk, 'Elena Nova' is arguably one of the best-looking racing yachts to have successfully competed at the highest level Australian yachting. She has been meticulously maintained and professionally upgraded throughout her current owner's tenure, and is now exclusively For Sale with YOTI in Sydney.

Having recently competed in the 2017 Newport to Coffs Harbour race, she finished 5th on Line Honours amongst a competitive fleet and a very impressive 2nd on both IRC and ORCi. A great result in conditions that weren't entirely suited to Elena Nova's design profile.

Her rudder, keel and bulb have been optimized in Australia to meet ISAF standards with the re-design overseen by Andrew Dovell. A new keel fin built was built in June 2015 and new rudder built in May 2016. Her bulb weight was adjusted in 2014,2015 and 2016 for better performance and rating optimization.

No expense has been spared in the preparation of this yacht ! Her current and immaculate inventory includes a full Harken deck gear inventory with single pedestal, fully upgraded and current Brooks and Gatehouse instrument package including Panasonic "though book "with expedition software, and recent and comprehensive composite racing and delivery sail wardrobe.

This beautifully presented yacht is equally as happy competing in a Division 1 twilight fleet as she is on her way to Hobart as a Category 1 Bluewater race yacht.

Please call Tim Vine to discuss this yacht further or to inspect her on Sydney Harbour.
