Nelson Marek 46 – St Hilliers Quest – July 2016

This mighty Neslon Marek 46, a Sydney to Hobart race winner in 2002 as ‘Quest’ under the original ownership of Bob Steel, has now found a new home. Most recently known as ‘St Hilliers Quest’ and raced very successfully in Sydney harbour inshore club series over the past years has now moved to Southport Yacht club. Her new owners Fred & Veronica, have wasted no time in getting to know her, having sailed her back up to Southport, renamed her ‘Auric’s Quest’ with a complete wrap, got her offshore race ready and then completed the Brisbane to Keppel race all within weeks of taking ownership. Fred is looking forward to building up the competition at Southport Yacht Club as well as racing her in many of the Australian Bluewater classics.
